Lily Vakili
In this episode of The Hook, the massively multitalented Lily Vakili chats with Christine about spending her childhood bouncing from Honduras to Florida to Thailand to Puerto Rico to Iowa, her varied artistic paths, and how her new EP illuminates her favorite parts of performing live. Vakili is set to release Live Wire on May 8th. Formerly of the Vakili Band, she established her solo career with her EP Oceans of Kansas in 2025 and is back with a rocking, bluesy blend of some of her best-loved tracks as well as a couple of new ones, including “Anybody Knows”—out now wherever you stream your music.
