Recently, Eli met up with Nick Salisbury and Dan Schwartz at a quiet place in Minnesota to capture an inspiring instrumental, “You Don’t Live Here Anymore”, from a forthcoming album of duo recordings.

Guitarist Dan Schwartz and bassist Nick Salisbury, both Minnesota-based musicians, are mainstays of the local and regional music scene. Dan has played guitar with many singer-songwriters and acoustic acts, including Dan Navarro, Peter Mayer and Eli Gardiner. Bassist Nick is a particular favorite with songwriters, having performed with local acts such as Brian Fallon, Ryan Bingham, Sarah Morris, Jack Klatt, Mike Munson, Becky Kapell, David Huckfelt, and many others. Both musicians are members of The Neighborhood Quartet.

The new instrumental song, “You Don’t Live Here Anymore” was written by Nick in the dead of winter in 2022 and will soon be on the forthcoming album of duo recordings. Watch and listen below!
