Haters Club is a genre-jumping Minneapolis-based rock and roll band. Each song on the new EP reveals a different side of the band, from the country rock of “It Ain’t Easy,” the melodic pop of “Teenage Love,” the trippy instrumental “Flamingo Sketches,” the Roger-Waters-meets-Neil-Young charm of “I Wouldn’t Blame You,” and the bouncy folk of “Persephone.”
